The close location to Osaka castle & the rooms are larger than other hotels

Yes we left lip gloss on the sidw board at the room...unfortunately the staff would not allow us to go back to the room to check??! Their excuse is the cleaner has not seen!!

Balcony, high pressure shower (although not to hot). Nice sized room for Japan.

Location not THAT close to Osaka Castle.

Room we got was spacious and has a bit of an old japanese style room which we like. We like how the toilet and bath are separate. On the location it is quite a walk from the nearest station exit and only stairs is available in the exit. We had a had time with our luggage since we didnt know that their isnt an elevator nearby our exit.

Bed was very comfortable, hotel is close to train station, and in unit washer and dryer combo

Just a great choice to stay at. Comfort, spacious and super friendly staff. A good choice to enjoy your stay away from the crazy huzzle and buzzle. Close to public transport as well.

What isn't there to dislike

Location and staff awesome, the property are a little old but is functional, TV is old one and you cannot move, but is ok to stay for 4-5 days

One elevator, is old, the TV is old also, some rusty metal in the kitchen area.

Location was 10/10 for such as low price. Hotel standard, very big rooms, comfortable for everybody. They have porch on some rooms, big dining tables. There are 2 hotel cards, so you can split up with the gang if needed. You can get a lot of amenities, like toothbrush, toners, shaving cream, shavers, etc for free at the lobby. The staff knows multiple languages, it is very tourist friendly. We get to check in early at 11 a.m. as the room was ready, and do not need to wait until 3 p.m. Would definitely choose this place to stay again.

Nothing. It didn't happen to me, but there is only 1 lift, so going up and down might take more time than expected if the lift is always occupied.

Location, easy to find, clean, on a side street so it was much quieter than the hotels on the main road. The room was spacious, the mattress was firm, pillows great, good table for work space.

Everything was so close and easy to find, about 15 minutes by walking from the Osaka castle, theres a metro line around 2 blocks and is easy to find.The staff was very nice, i booked a smoking room instead of a non smoking since j got confused and the staff was very friendly trying to move me to another room and checking availability.

Always stays here when in Osaka . Feel like our home far away . The bed with futtons so comfortable .

My stay at Mystays Osaka Otemae was very pleasant. The room was spacious for Japan, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. The hotel is close to transportation and within walking distance to several nice areas in Osaka. Great place for anyone visiting the city.

The rooms are a little out dated

near a train station (less than 300m away), with toiletries, spacious, has huge cabinets with hangers, complete amenities except for iron, friendly staff. we were also allowed to check in early.

Staff were friendly and nice to help us. Room was quite large and felt comfortable with kitchenette features

Doors are short if you are over 6 feet tall. One small elevator meant taking stairs a few times rather than waiting.

Constant noice, elevator not working properly, AC making a weird noise at night. Small bed and toilet was extremely small

Very accommodating and cheerful staff. Rooms seem a bit old but still clean and well-maintained.

We stayed at this hotel mainly for its convenient location in the business district, close to the Chuo Line, which made getting around easy. We booked the room with four beds and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was—even had a balcony, which was a nice touch.

That said, the hotel is definitely older and shows its age. The room felt very “well used,” with visible stains on the carpet and walls. The microwave wasn’t very clean either. There’s no daily room cleaning, but they do provide fresh towels if you ask.If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option with lots of space, this could be a good fit. Just don’t expect anything stylish or especially clean. In hindsight, I think I would’ve preferred to spend a bit more for a more updated and comfortable space.

Great location. Close to Tanimachi station. There is a Boulangerie & Cafe Gout i would highly recommend for breakfast.Hotel itself is a little aged. The room we had must had been an apartment before, and rooms were section off with sliding doors. There is a washer. But i would advice you to take your cloths down to the laundry room to dry them. There are kitchen essential so you can cook at site. Good size French style fridge with freezer We were totally surprised as there was a rice cooker! So just like the pictures, the room is separated into bedrooms, living/dining room, and bathroomThere is also a market nearby and they have great bentos!

The staff were very accommodating and provided excellent service.The mini kitchen was also very convenient.

The kitchen fan was a bit dirty, but considering the price, I wasn’t expecting too much.

Great location. And good wifi.

The property is quite old, and the only reason I was forced to stay was because the booking was non-refundable and even then, I cancelled my last night’s booking in favour of another place that opened up its booking. The place wasn’t clean either and I wanted to leave very badly. Overall disappointed.
